The third week was filled with heat, games and over 1.000 fans on Instagram!
"Mom, Xana always wants to bite me when she catches me!" The dog-kid grumbled annoyed. And yes ... Xana and the dog-kid loved to play, but since the little border collie didn't know how to catch the human child, she did it with her teeth. In the meantime, two of the most beautiful dresses got destroyed and the dog-kid changed to plain leggings when playing in order to protect her other dress. It became clear that Xana still needed her time to understand how to play with this two-legged wild human kid.
Way too hot for the little Asturian

During this week the temperatures went up to unusual 30 degrees. Actually, it is crazily hot for Asturias. With the temperature rising, Xana hid herself more and more in the shadow. I really enjoyed the weather and the dog-kid loved to play with sun and until late, but Xana started to only like the nights. During the day, she looked for the shadiest places because after five minutes playing in the sun, she was super exhausted. The dog-kid always offered water she appreciated for a second. As soon as she drunk enough, she turned around the bowl and emptied the water in order to play with it. Quite annoyed, the dog-kid refilled it an uncountable amount of times while I was laughing quietly. Well... there is one more thing that happened this week.
The dog-kid and Xana move out
I slept with the teenage woman in the tent several times before Xana moved in with us. Even though she is already a big girl (as she always says), she doesn't want to sleep in the garden all alone. So it made sense to try out a night with Xana - neither her playmate nor she would be alone. Surprisingly, she really didn't move back during the night and from that day onwards she always slept peacefully in the tent with Xana. A welcome change if you don't go on vacation!
